This course is suitable for anyone wishing to register with Ofsted as a Nanny / Homecarer / Childminder but will also be of interest to anyone who cares for, or works with children including Parents / Grandparents / Nursery Staff / Teaching staff etc.
 

We host a Coffee morning for Nannies on the first Wednesday of every month from 10.30 a.m in our children's room so why not bring the children along and meet up with other Nannies!!  You don't need to be registered with us to come along.

We have a Nanny who is keen to meet up with other Nannies in the Clifton & Westbury Park areas. She works Mondays and Wednesdays in Clifton caring for two girls aged 18 months and 3 ½ yrs & Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays in Westbury Park with two girls aged 6 months and 2 yrs. POSITION:This family with one son aged 11 months on appointment are looking for a sole charge Nanny/Proxy parent to come and care for him. Mum works in London and needs to leave at 6am on Monday mornings and will return late on Tuesday evenings. She is flexible with when the candidate arrives and leaves as long as the hours required are covered. He currently attends Nursery but this may change by September as the family are due to move to London in November. He enjoys going to singing clubs and play groups. POSITION:  This family with two children aged 6 years and 18 months on appointment, need a friendly, affectionate, energetic & enthusiastic Sole Charge Nanny with a kind and gentle nature and a mature attitude, to come and care for them. This could include an occasional overnight stay when dad has to leave for work at 5am but this is optional. The position starts at 2.30pm to enable the Nanny to do food preparation / and childcare related household tasks prior to the school pick up. The parents would like the children to be encouraged with their reading / word & number practices and have stories, visits to the park/ library & after school activities as appropriate. POSITION:  This family with two children aged 6 & 3 years are looking for a sole charge live in Nanny. Although the children do not usually wake up until 7am, mum has to leave at 5am to travel to work in London and the children are in bed for 7pm and mum returns home at 9pm. The oldest daughter is in school and the youngest has been booked to start pre school for 4 full days but this could change depending on the Nanny. This position includes supervising homework and the girls enjoy dancing and swimming. They have two pet Guinea Pigs, so you would need to be comfortable with this. There is a double bedroom available, with a sofa and ensuite shower room. Mum is willing to pay a retainer incase the girls are poorly and you are needed to care for them all day / plus maybe through school holidays, although this summer they have both attended kids clubs. POSITION:  This family with three children aged 3, 5 & 6.5 years are moving to Germany in September and mum is due to start work in October. The children will be at school and pre-school so this will include dropping off and collecting at lunch time, giving them lunch and playing until mum comes home. This is an exciting place to live as there is an Underground directly outside the flat and is also good for skiing and skating etc in the winter.
